Guided tour to the 3,203m-high Kitzsteinhorn summit
On this tour, a state-certified mountain guide accompanies participants rope-secured to the 3,203m-high summit of the Kitzsteinhorn.
The ascent is rewarded by breathtaking views – from the glaciated flanks of the adjacent Hohe Tauern National Park’s threethousanders over the rugged cirques of the Steinernes Meer ("rocky sea") and grassy slopes of the Kitzbuehel Alps all the way down to the Zell valley.
Equipment
Tour in high-alpine terrain, equipment required accordingly: warm jacket, trekking or mountain boots (slip-proof sole, ankle-high), backpack, sunglasses and sunscreen
