Spring & Summer

Glacier firn & summer experience

Luscious green in the valley, sparkling white on the Kitzsteinhorn. Skiers and snowboarders will find glistening firn-coverd slopes until early summer. Even in summer the Kitzsteinhorn invites with its bright and sunny glacier runs. In Austria’s first glacier ski region at the Kitzsteinhorn the cable cars and lifts are opened until mid of july for all skiers and snowboarders.

Autumn

Jet into the powder snow

Float with the Glacierjet 1 and 2 to the Alpincenter at 2450 m altitude and enjoy the unbelievable beautiful panoramic view. The Gipfelbahn takes you via the world-highest lift pylon into the eternal white world of the 3000 m mountain area.

Kitzsteinhorn Snowparks

The freestyle fraction can hardly wait: The Glacier Park (at 2900m) with its different obstacles, which were largely hand made by the finest work of the Kitzsteinhorn crew, opens already at mid/end of October.

Fireworks of Events

The countless Autum and early Winter events in the white glacier snow are as colourful as the Autumn leaves in the valley.  The traditional “White Start”, a sporty weekend with first class side events, heralds the beginning of the winter season.
