Cooking fun for The Little ones
No matter whether we are young or old: We are what we eat.
Our food determines how robust and healthy we are from the cradle. Therefore, the Cool Kids Cook is held under the banner of healthy food – meaning fresh, local, seasonal and, first and foremost, homemade. Together with chef Thomas Ellwanger, kids will cook a balanced three-course meal for themselves and their companions. They will also go on a journey of discovery – in the world of edible wild herbs and flowers. In the afternoon, the children will learn how tasty and easy nutritious snacks can be.

Events programme
Kids' Cooking Class
A time for tiny foodies to prepare big meals: With the help of chef Thomas Ellwanger, kids aged 6 to 12 years will cook delicious dishes, made with local ingredients. These will then be served for lunch at the Maisi Alm to be enjoyed by the kids' companions as well.

- Duration: approx. 3,5 hrs. – lunch subsequently
- Costs: 12,– euros per child + 8,– euros per accompanying person (max. two per child)

Workshop „Healthy Snacking“ (free of charge)
Chef Thomas Ellwanger will show kids aged 5 years and older how to prepare a wholesome snack.
- Starting point: anytime from 2 to 5 p.m., Maisi Alm
- Registration: not required
Family hike “The world of edible wild plants” (free of charge)
The MK Maiskogelbahn cable car will carry everyone to the top station. On a leisurely stroll in the direction of the Unterbergalm hut, we will discover and collect edible wild herbs and flowers, with which we will eventually make a little snack.
- Starting point: either at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m., Maisi Alm
- Duration: approx. 1,5 hrs.
- Costs: free of charge (cable car ticket extra)
- Registration: not required
