EXHIBITION

World of freedom, summits and structures

January 13 until the beginning of May 2019 at the Kitzsteinhorn Alpincenter

The picturesque glacial setting of the Kitzsteinhorn was captured on canvas by local Pinzgau artists under the direction of Salzburg gallerist Professor Siegfried Karrer during a workshop held at the foot of the mountain.

Irene Bernatzky, Roswitha Foch, Edith Lirk, Helene Maria Schorn, Georg Schreder, Elisabeth Schwaighofer and Thomas Schwarzenbacher moved their studios up to the Kitzsteinhorn and, with the help of their easels and paintbrushes, allowed their artistic perspective to explore the structures of the mountain, with a sense of immense majesty and boundless freedom flowing into every brushstroke of their works.

A selection of paintings created by these seven Pinzgau artists will be on display at the Alpincenter from January 13 until the beginning of May 2019.
