Via Culinaria

Two Kitzsteinhorn restaurants are among the favoured few mountain restaurants and huts in Land Salzburg to be chosen by the „Via Culinaria – Genussweg für Hüttenhocker“. Within the framework of this initiative by the „Salzburger Land Tourismus“, quality-conscious mountain restaurant proprietors offer special Via Culinaria hut  delights, to be enjoyed in these restaurants exclusively.

The Kitzsteinhorn head chef the cuisine Werner Köhler and his team have created the delicious Via Culinaria specialities like “Ossobuco of deer from the National Park Hohe Tauern” or “Steak from prime Pinzgau beef“.  They are served all year round in the Restaurant Gletschermühle and in winter also in the Gipfel Restaurant, at 3.029 metres.
