COOKING FUN FOR COOL KIDS

No matter whether we are young or old: We are what we eat. Our food determines how robust and healthy we are from the cradle. Therefore, Cool Kids Cook is held under the banner of healthy food – meaning fresh, local, seasonal and, first and foremost, home-made.

Together with chef Thomas Ellwanger, kids will cook a balanced three-course meal for themselves and their companions.

Self-picked wild herbs and flowers season the dishes. The kids learn plenty of interesting facts about our local flora from the graduate herbal medicine practitioner Theresa Sommerbichler.

The afternoon is all about Austrian Donuts – newly interpreted sweet and sour doughnuts. The kids can sell their home-made creations from a stand eventually. The proceeds will go to charity.
