The Ski Resort

Few ski areas offer as much variety as the terrain on and around the Kitzsteinhorn in the Zell am See-Kaprun region. At the high-alpine Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski resort, winter sports enthusiasts enjoy an extra-long season from fall through early summer thanks to its snow-reliable high-altitude location and state-of-the-art snow management. Close to the town center, the Maiskogel ski area is especially popular with families and recreational skiers.

Nature & Panoramic Experiences

Visitors to the Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel can enjoy an unparalleled variety of natural landscapes, sports activities, and recreational experiences. From the center of Kaprun, the journey leads all the way up to the glacier ice at 3,000 meters. In summer, scenic hiking and biking routes, action-packed mountain bike trails, and adventure playgrounds await along the way. Unique year-round and seasonal attractions, together with spectacular panoramic cable car rides, round out the diverse experience.
