Accessibility Statement

in accordance with Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of the Commission of 11 October 2018 establishing a model accessibility statement in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies

Declaration of Accessibility

Gletscherbahnen Kaprun Aktiengesellschaft is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with § 4c of the Salzburg Participation Act for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327 of 2.12.2016, p. 1).

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.kitzsteinhorn.at/.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compatible with conformance level AA of the 'Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1' or with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The following content is not accessible because it is not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • There are images without captions on one page. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers.
  • There is a link without link text on a page.
  • On single pages, the contrast between text and background is too low.
  • On a page, the language stored in HTML does not match the page language.
  • There is a form field on a page without labelling. It is difficult to navigate to the form field with screen readers.
  • On single pages there are headings that have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible to screen readers.
  • On one page, the meta viewport prevents the zoom. Deactivating the zoom makes page content more difficult to read for people with visual impairments.
  • There are tables on single pages that have not been created correctly. Not all table data is assigned to table headers. It is not always clear which table content belongs to which table header.
  • On single pages, links are indistinguishable from the surrounding text.
