The perfect tour for pleasure-oriented mountain bikers

On an (e-)bike tour in the mountains, fun and movement play as big a role as beautiful nature and snacks – Bike & Bites takes this activity to the next level. You meet your guide at the Kaprun Center, where, after a quick skills check, your unique mountain bike tour begins: After riding up with the MK Maiskogelbahn, the first highlight awaits: the ride with the 3K K-onnection – on of world’s most modern and energy-efficient cable cars. The cabins give a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding mountain world all the way down to the sparkling Lake Zell. Depending on your skill level, you descend, starting at the Alpincenter, either via challenging MTB trails or a forest road.

At your first culinary stop at the Salzburger Hütte, you enjoy a hearty snack before continuing your journey. After the second section, coffee and cake await you at the Glocknerblick. Breathtaking views and unparalleled photo moments accompany you along the way. Back in the valley, you reflect on your shared experiences with a closing drink at Maisi Alm.

Please note: The 3K K-onnection begins its summer operations on June 28. On the first two dates (June 19 and 26), the tour starts with a joint ride to the Kitzsteinhorn valley station. From there, the Gletscherjet 1 takes everyone up to Langwied, where the culinary biking adventure kicks off.
