The Showdown at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn
When national and international up and coming snowboard talent meets at Kitzsteinhorn in the Zell am See-Kaprun region in late March, it all comes down to one thing: earning the World Rookie Champion title. Around 100 rookies go head to head in Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn for a Finals week packed with tricks, style, and guts.
Since 2005, the World Rookie Tour has been an international platform built specifically for under-18 talent, under the patronage of the World Snowboard Federation. By linking selected international tour stops with additional national and regional events, it creates a clear pathway toward the pro scene.
