60 Years of Kitzsteinhorn

On December 12, 1965, guests were transported into the high alpine terrain for the first time on the newly completed cable cars. Austria's first glacier ski area officially opened.

Since then, Kitzsteinhorn has stood for pioneering spirit and alpine vision. What began as a summer ski area has evolved into a modern, year-round destination.
