Big Air Masters 2026 Results Are In
April 10, 2026 – The fifth edition of the Austrian & German Masters wrapped up successfully at Kitzsteinhorn on April 7 and 8. A total of 70 snowboarders from 19 nations took the opportunity to compete at the renowned Austrian & German Masters and, at the same time, the second-to-last Big Air Europa Cup of the winter season. Austria's and Germany's Big Air national titles were also awarded by the Austrian Snowboard Association and Snowboard Germany.

At Kitzsteinhorn, riders dug deep into their bag of tricks the entire field showed an impressively high level.
Once again, Team Japan dominated: Hiromu Watanabe secured the win and valuable Europa Cup points with a Frontside 1620 Indy and a Cab 1440 Mute Grab. Second place went to Niklas Huber (GER), who also claimed the German Big Air title. Sora Horigome (JPN) finished third.
In the women's competition, Sofia Afanaseva (AIN) won convincingly with a Backside Double Cork 1080 and a Frontside Double Cork 1080 Mute. Dutch Olympian Melissa Peperkamp took second, while Yura Murase (JPN) completed the podium in third.

The Austrian Masters 2026 Big Air titles went to Ilvy Paul (women) and Lennox König (men). The German Masters 2026 titles were won by Heli Bockhorn (women) and Niklas Huber (men).
A fitting season finale for the Austrian Snowboard Association and Snowboard Germany marking the fifth anniversary of the jointly hosted Austrian & German Masters at Kitzsteinhorn.
