This Was Freestyle Spring at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn
Die-hard freestyle fans know it – come spring, the Kitzsteinhorn with its perfectly shaped snowparks and cool sessions is THE place to be. Once again his year, numerous snowboarders and freeskiers jibbed and jumped into spring on the glacier. Here's a recap of the highlights from the 2025 freestyle spring at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn.
Downdays Snowpark Tour
On April 5, the Downdays Snowpark Tour presented by El Tony Mate and supported by Atomic Skis hit its 7th and final tour stop of the 2024/25 season at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn. Freestylers of all ages and skill levels soaked up the good vibes in the Central Park and showed off their style at the Cash4Tricks Session, walking away with rad prizes.
Austria Snowpark Days
On April 12, girls and boys aged 8 to 16 got to shred under the guidance of cerfidied coaches at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn. In a safe and supportive setup, young freeskiers and snowboarders learned new tricks and and picked up pro tips to optimize their skills.
VOLCOM Takeover
On April 26, VOLCOM took over the Central Park at Kitzsteinhorn. Whether newbie or pro – everyone soaked up the laid-back vibes at the BBQ with free drinks and nice sounds in the Central Park. At the Goodies for Tricks Session and the Electric Best Trick competition, some skilled riders walked away with awesome prizes.
elooa CAMP GOOD TIMES
From April 30 to May 4, the legendary camp by Nitro Snowboards celebrated its 10th anniversary at Kitzsteinhorn – with a record-breaking 250+ snowboarders from around 20 nations. For five days, the global snowboard community wrapped up the 2024/25 freestyle season in a custom-shaped snowpark, riding under perfect conditions and bluebird skies. A varied program featuring exciting contests, session with elooa coaches, video coaching, film and photo shoots, live music from former Nitro pro riders, and much more made the event even more unforgettable.
