Glacier Spring Festival 2025
April 26 & 27, 2025 – Numerous people took advantage of the last weekend in April to wrap up a successful winter season at Kitzsteinhorn and kick off glacier spring with spring skiing until May 18. The event program around the Alpincenter at 2,450 meters was just as exciting as the perfect slope conditions.
SKI TEST & GLACIER SPRING CUP
Year after year, much sought after – the big, free ski test powered by Bründl Sports. This time featuring: Atomic, Blizzard | Tecnica, Head, Salomon und Kästle. After a knowledgeable consultation at each booth, visitors headed straight to the perfectly groomed slopes with their brand new model. Many took advantage of this unique opportunity and found their new skis for the upcoming winter season. In the process, some also successfully completed the Glacier Spring Cup, securing their chance to win great prizes.
CULINARY DELIGHTS
Not only were visitors fully satisfied in terms of skiing enjoyment, but their culinary needs were also well taken care of on the Alpincenter sun terrace. At the barbecue, there were juicy burgers and crispy pork knuckles from the Schultes Butcher's Shop in Zell am See. The Müller Winery from the Kremstal region offered sparkling wine at the bubbly bar. With its Sonnenbrand Edition, Herzog Destillate from Saalfelden crafted refreshing spritz drinks. The Red Bull show bartender expertly mixed cocktails to suit every taste.
LIVE MUSIC
On Saturday, the guys from BÄÄM&Brass really got the crowd going. The entertaining party brass band from Austria created a unique musical experience with their mix of Styrian accordion, drums, and electric bass, along with a brass lineup of trumpet, saxophone, and trombone.
On Sunday, Linda Siu x DJane Xandra captivated the audience with powerful vocals and dynamic beats. The duo delivered an energetic performance that had many visitors up on their feet and dancing along.
