Glacier Spring Festival 2026
On May 2, plenty of visitors took the opportunity to wrap up a great winter season at Kitzsteinhorn and kick off glacier spring with sun-drenched spring skiing through May 25. The program around the Alpincenter at 2,450 meters was a hit – just like the outstanding slope conditions.
SKI TEST & GLACIER SPRING CUP
A crowd favorite year after year: the big free ski demo powered by Bründl Sports. This time, Atomic, Salomon, Blizzard, and HEAD were on site. After expert advice at each booth, guests headed straight out to the perfectly groomed runs on the latest models. Many took the chance to find their new skis for next season. And along the way, plenty also completed the Glacier Spring Cup – earning a shot at great prizes.

BÄÄM&Brass really brought the energy. The Austrian party brass band delivered a one-of-a-kind sound – mixing Styrian accordion, drums, and electric bass with a brass lineup of trumpet, saxophone, and trombone.
