Freshly prepared and down to earth are the dishes that are served here by friendly service staff in front of a stunning panorama. The kitchen team puts great emphasis on freshness and regionality. Pinzgau Kasnockn (cheesy pasta) in the frying pan with cheese from the region, golden brown baked Viennese schnitzel or homemade sweet temptations from the legendary Austrian pastry cuisine. The wine list offers an extensive selection of quality wines in particular from Austrian vintners. In cooperation with the Stiegl private brewery, this "typical Austrian restaurant“ treats you to the art of brewing at the highest level in 2,450 metres above sea level.
Sun worshippers take a seat on the wind-protected terrace; thick natural stone walls and larch wood panelling provide alpine cosiness inside the Gletschermühle. The wind-protected panorama umbrella offers a view to Kaprun and Lake Zell. Here you enjoy staying a bit longer because of the friendly atmosphere and the amazing view.
The Gletschermühle restaurant is one of the carefully selected members of "Via Culinaria – Genussweg für Hüttenhocker“ and a new special Via Culinaria dish is created from the finest regional products every season.
