Kitzsteinhorn – Maiskogel – Lechnerberg

Daily operating hours for the cable cars and ski lifts depend on the current weather, snow, and operational conditions.

• For sightseeing visitors, the lifts to Kitzsteinhorn are open year-round.
• The ascent from Langwiedboden to Alpincenter is currently operated by the Langwiedbahn (chairlift).
• Complete closure of the Fürth–Kaprun railroad crossing: Saturday, September 26, from 2:45 PM until Monday, September 28, at 6:00 AM
  Kaprun can be reached via the following alternative routes:
  •    via Alte Kapruner Straße / Kaprun Castle
  •    via Piesendorf / Einödhof
  
• Wednesday, September 30: Last descent from Alpincenter: 2:00 PM; last descent on the MK Maiskogelbahn: 2:30 PM
• MK Maiskogelbahn (until Oct. 4 & Oct. 24 - Nov. 1) open daily. 
  
• Ski operations at the Kitzsteinhorn are expected to start from October 10, 2026 – depending on snow conditions.
