The Falstaff Culinary Ski Days take place for the 5th time in the Zell am See-Kaprn region and on the Kitzsteinhorn. Gourmets enjoy haute cuisine and fine wine from top vintners in a breathtaking high-alpine setting.

On Friday, April 10 the Kitzsteinhorn is THE place to be for all wine lovers, when three stations in the ski resort invite for wine tastings with local tapas at the Wine Flight & Tapas Delight.

The highest-located program item is held on April 11 on the Kitzsteinhorn: At the HOCHGENUSS in the Gipfel Restaurant on 3,029 meters, a gourmet dinner will be served amidst a breathtaking high-alpine backdrop.

Wine Flight & Tapas Delight – April 10, 2026

Friday, April 10, 2026 | Kitzsteinhorn | Gipfel Restaurant, Restaurant Gletschermühle & Skyline Bar

The place to be for anyone who appreciates fine wines, great food, and a high-alpine winter setting: Wine Flight & Tapas Delight invites you to a three-stop culinary journey through the glacier ski area – an experience best enjoyed step by step, in the right order.
Your tasting adventure begins at Gipfel Restaurant at 3,029 meters, where the “starter” awaits: the Sparkling Wine Flight. Continue on to the brand-new Gletschermühle Restaurant for the “main course” featuring a Red Wine Flight. The grand finale – the “dessert” – is served in the stylish Skyline Bar, where an elegant White Wine Flight rounds off the experience. Each wine selection is thoughtfully matched with alpine tapas.
Following the prescribed route ensures a seamless and unforgettable day of flavor, vistas, and alpine sophistication.

Finest local tapas accompany the culinary trip at all three stations.

The highest-altitude event of the “Culinary Ski Days” is traditionally hosted in Salzburg’s most elevated restaurant: HOCHGENUSS blends breathtaking high-alpine scenery with exceptional haute cuisine. An evening rich in atmosphere, views, and aromas – on the Kitzsteinhorn at over 3,000 meters.

This one-of-a-kind culinary experience begins with an evening cable car ascent to the summit station at 3,029 meters, followed by an aperitif on the “TOP OF SALZBURG” panoramic platform, offering spectacular views across the sea of peaks of the Hohe Tauern. Johannes Nuding bridges Tyrolean alpine heritage and international haute cuisine – and with this widely acclaimed Michelin-starred chef, HOCHGENUSS once again promises an unforgettable journey of flavors. Exquisite premium wines accompany each course.
