For two days, everything at the Kitzsteinhorn revolves around great food and fine wines – at HOCHGENUSS and Wine Flight & Tapas Delight, the highest-altitude highlights of the renowned Falstaff Culinary Ski Days in Zell am See-Kaprun.
On Friday, April 10, Wine Flight & Tapas Delight invites guests to sample exceptional top wines at three locations across the ski area, paired with fine regional tapas.
On Saturday, April 11, HOCHGENUSS combines a spectacular alpine setting with award-winning fine dining at the Gipfel Restaurant at 3,029 meters.

The place to be for anyone who appreciates fine wines, great food, and a breathtaking high alpine winter setting. Three stops invite on a culinary journey through the glacier ski area, meant to be enjoyed step by step:
- Stop 1 ▸ Sparkling Wine Flight
10 AM to 12 PM – The event kicks off at the Gipfel Restaurant at 3,029 meters with the starter courseDer Auftakt erfolgt im Gipfel Restaurant at 3,029 meters with the "starter". - Stop 2 ▸ Red Wine Flight
12 to 2 PM – Next, the new Gletschermühle Restaurant at 2,450 meters serves the "main course". - Stop 3 ▸ White Wine Flight
2 to 3:30 PM – The grand finale is "dessert" at the beautiful Skyline Bar in the Alpincenter at 2,450 meters.
The selected wines are perfectly paired with alpine tapas.

The highest-altitude highlight of the Falstaff Gourmet Ski Days traditionally takes place at the Gipfel Restaurant at 3,029 meters.

This one of a kind culinary experience begins with an evening cable car ride up to the restaurant at 3,029 meters, followed by an aperitif on the TOP OF SALZBURG panoramic platform with spectacular views across the Hohe Tauern's sea of peaks. A selection of premium wines is perfectly paired with the multi-course menu. - The Captain
Each year, a different standout figure from Austria's top-tier culinary scene is invited into the kitchen. Led by a highly acclaimed Michelin-starred chef with an impressive career, HOCHGENUSS 2026 also promises an unforgettable journey of flavors: Johannes Nuding is a master between Tyrolean Alpine roots and international haute cuisine. Today, he and his wife Lilit run their own restaurant, Schwarzer Adler in Hall in Tirol, whose culinary achievements were honored with two Michelin stars in 2025.
