From 27 to 29 November 2026, Bergwelten kicks off the 2026/27 ski touring season at Kitzsteinhorn.
The Bergwelten Ski Touring Testival offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy your first ski tour of the season alongside the certified mountain guides from Naturfreunde. At the same time, participants can test the latest ski touring equipment for the 2026/27 season and benefit from expert product presentations and hands-on advice.

Visitors can also refresh and improve their avalanche safety skills at the dedicated avalanche transceiver (LVS) training area, helping them prepare for a safe winter in the mountains.

Event Programme:

  • Test the latest gear from top outdoor brands: touring skis, skins, poles, avalanche transceivers and safety equipment, backpacks, GPS multi-sport watches, helmets, goggles, touring boots, activewear, and more.
  • Guided ski tours with mountain guides from Naturfreunde
  • Big prize draw with a high-value reward
  • Avalanche search training in a dedicated area, hosted by Ortovox
  • Product workshops featuring the newest ski touring equipment
