This Was Freestyle Spring at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn
Passionate freestylers know it: in spring, Kitzsteinhorn is the place to be—thanks to perfectly shaped snowparks and fun sessions. Once again this year, plenty of snowboarders and freeskiers jibbed and jumped their way into spring on the glacier. Here’s a recap of the highlights from Freestyle Spring 2026 at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn.
VOLCOM Takeover
On April 13, VOLCOM took over the Central Park at Kitzsteinhorn. Newbie or pro – everyone enjoyed the laid-back vibe with a BBQ, free beer, and great sounds in the park. And during the Goodies 4 Trick Session, some riders walked away with awesome prizes.
Austria Snowpark Days
On April 18, girls and boys ages 8 to 16 had a blast at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn under the guidance of certified coaches. In a safe setting, young freeskiers and snowboarders learned new tricks and picked up valuable tips to level up their skills.
Downdays Snowpark Tour
On April 25, the Downdays Snowpark Tour, presented by El Tony Mate and supported by Atomic Skis, stopped at Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn for its ninth—and second-to-last—tour stop of the 2025/26 season. Freestylers of all ages and skill levels soaked up the good vibes in the Central Park and snagged cool prizes at the Cash4Tricks Session.
elooa CAMP GOOD TIMES
From May 13–17, the legendary camp by Nitro Snowboards celebrated winter in May at Kitzsteinhorn—with over 250 snowboarders from around 20 nations. For five days, the international snowboard community wrapped up the 2025/26 freestyle season in an event-built snowpark with perfect conditions. A packed side program with exciting contests, sessions with elooa coaches, video coaching, film and photo shoots, live music by former Nitro pro riders, and more rounded out the camp experience.
