A Modern Take on Alpine Style
The new Gletschermühle blends harmoniously into the high-alpine landscape at 2,450 meters – a key focus during the planning phase. Just as much attention was given to creating a modern architectural style. The ground floor features the main dining area as well as a bar with a cozy fireplace lounge. A gently curved staircase leads to the Kitzsteinhorn Lounge on the upper floor, where up to 30 guests can enjoy exclusive service and breathtaking views of the Kitzsteinhorn summit.
Both the exterior and interior feature distinctive architectural elements that traditionally echo the natural form of a glacial mill. The lighting concept – emphasizing indirect and warm as well as natural light through generous panoramic windows – combined with tasteful interior design, creates a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.
