Info tunnel in the mountain – glacier and Hohe Tauern National Park

The 360 metres long mystic National Park Gallery info tunnel is the access to the viewing platform National Park Gallery. On the slightly descending walk through the mountain, you feel the heartbeat of the mountain.

Interesting info stations are provided in six illuminated alcoves. Here you learn interesting facts about the Hohe Tauern, their formation and their natural resources but also about how well and sophisticated cable car technology works in this high alpine location.

At the end of the tunnel, you emerge from the inside of the mountain and step onto the National Park Gallery viewing platform. The walk back to the summit station leads again through the tunnel.
