National Park Ranger tours on the Kitzsteinhorn
Experience the fascination of the high alpine mountain world and the Hohe Tauern National Park during a free of charge guided tour: National Park Rangers take you on a "National Park Gallery Tour" through the Gipfelwelt 3000 and guide you through four climate zones from the valley to the world of the glacier on the "Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour".

Explore four climate zones from the valley to the world of glaciers together with a National Park Ranger in just one day with cable cars:
How does glacier ice form, where is the habitat of golden eagles and bearded vultures, what survival strategies do edelweiss and saxifrage develop – you will find out all this and more on a trip with four cable cars to 3.000 metres above sea level and on easy hiking tours. At the end a visit of the Gipfelwelt 3000 including Nationalpark Gallery awaits you.

National Park Gallery Tour
On this free of charge National Park Ranger guided tour, you hike from "Top of Salzburg“ leisurely to the National Park Gallery viewing platform.
In the mystic National Park Gallery info tunnel, the ranger explains the formation of mountain crystals and the Hohe Tauern and he talks about gold and silver, the permafrost natural phenomenon but also about the fauna, flora.
On the viewing platform at the end of the tour, you experience stunning views of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
