WOW Glacier Love powered by Fridge Festival

Superstars Chase & Status, Netsky, Ostblockschlampen, Drunken Masters and Hell Yes (aka. Dumme Jungs) will join this years breakout sensation Lost Frequencies, as well as Kyma, FYMS, Schwarzmarct, Tony Vegazz, Banazonic, Gerilla Sound and Teemid to officially open winter at WOW Glacier Love powered by Fridge Festival.

Held on the slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and in the town of Kaprun, WOW Glacier Love is quickly becoming Europe’s most sought after destination to celebrate the official start of the winter season. Top international acts and pro freestyle athletes will join the thousands of winter sport enthusiasts enjoying the early action on the Glacier and party late into the night in the festival areas in Kaprun.

The specially designed MainStage moves to a new 10,000 m2 festival area with a 3,000 m2 large Expo/Product Zone featuring the latest offerings for winter 2015. Two new stages also open this year in a unique venue dating back to the 11th Century - The Castle.

Friday and Saturday evening the celebrations start at 8pm in the WOW Festival Area and on the MainStage with some of the best international DJ’s on the planet joining us to welcome in the coming winter of wonder. The town of Kaprun transforms with immersive 3D video mapping, specially designed stages and the interactive Product Zone.

Kitzsteinhorn is the place for winter sport action and more live music. DJs will be performing on Saturday and Sunday from 10am on the Glacier Stage at the Alpine Centre. A new addition to the Glacier this year is the first pro stop in the Fridge Festival Competition series on Saturday at 11am in the Glacier Park. Top international freestyle athletes from snowboarding and freeski have been invited to compete or €10.000 prize money on Saturday on the ultra creative Multi-Obstacle feature, designed to allow the best of the best to get creative in the first contest of the winter season. The major winter brands will also be there, with the opportunity to test the latest skis and snowboards both Saturday and Sunday.
