Traditional alphorn sounds echo from the most scenic viewpoints, while the GletschermĂĽhle restaurant beckons with a hearty brunch: At the gourmet stands, visitors can sample and purchase authentic specialties from the Pinzgau region, while local artisans showcase handmade spice mills and ceramics. As a lunchtime special, traditional "Bauernkrapfen" (farmers' doughnuts) and "Bratl" (roast pork) will be served at the GletschermĂĽhle restaurant. Additionally, the Sumpfpitzinga create the perfect atmosphere with their energetic interpretation of traditional Tanzlmusi.
At 2 p.m., all the alphorn groups gather on the Gletschermühle terrace to round off the day with Summit Sounds. For an extra dose of nature and culture, National Park rangers lead the way: on the Kitzsteinhorn Explorer Tour through four climate zones and the free National Park Gallery Tour, they share fascinating insights into the alpine world of the Hohe Tauern – a memorable experience for the whole family.
