ICE CAMP

Every year at Kitzsteinhorn, 2,600 meters above sea level, a magical world of ice and snow comes to life. Inside three igloos, ice sculptures, light installations, and immersive soundscapes tell a new and fascinating story each time.
In front of the igloos, the ICE CAMP Sun Deck invites you to enjoy special chill-out moments with a snack bar, lounge chairs, and laid-back lounge music. Snow sports enthusiasts can access the ICE CAMP directly from the slopes, while winter hikers can reach it via the ICE CAMP Trail, starting at Alpincenter (walking time: approx. 30 minutes).

A small world in the heart of the glacier ski area that appeals to all the senses—not only captivating visually, but also stimulating the mind. The interplay of ice sculptures, light installations, and sound is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, inviting you to pause, take it all in, and connect with others.
Afterward, let your thoughts wander from a lounge chair on the sun deck while taking in views of the Kitzsteinhorn summit and enjoying a drink from the snack bar. On Saturdays in March and April, cool live acts will also provide entertainment here as part of ICE CAMP Sounds.
